R. Kelly Charged With 11 New Counts of Sexual Assault and Abuse

  Singer R. Kelly was charged Thursday with 11 new counts of sexual assault and sex abuse charges, court documents show.   Four of the charges are aggravated criminal sexual assault, two are criminal sexual assault by force, three are aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim between 13 and 16 years old and two are aggravated criminal sexual abuse.   The aggravated criminal sexual assault charges are Class X felonies, which according to NBC Chicago is the most serious felony in Illinois and carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of six to 30 years.   The singer's attorney, Steve Greenberg, tweeted that Kelly was not charged with a new case, but re-charged in a case from a decade ago.   Kelly, 52, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was previously charged in February with 10 counts of felony aggravated sexual abuse. He has denied all the accusations against him.

  Eden Hazard appeared to confirm his Chelsea exit after scoring twice in his side's 4-1 Europa League final defeat of Arsenal.   "I think it's a goodbye but in football you never know. My dream was to play in the Premier League. I played here for seven years for one of the biggest clubs in the world and maybe it's time for a new challenge," he said while speaking to a reporter immediately after the match.

Hazard Brace Blows Arsenal Away

  Eden Hazard's brace helped Maurizio Sarri claim his first major trophy as Chelsea crushed Arsenal 4-1 in the Europa League final in Baku on Wednesday.   In perhaps his final appearance before a mooted move to Real Madrid, star man Hazard struck two second half goals to confirm Chelsea's second triumph in six seasons in this competition.   Olivier Giroud sparked the landslide against his former employers in the 49th minute before Pedro put a second past retiring Gunners goalkeeper Petr Cech.   Alex Iwobi pulled one back in between Hazard's double but Arsenal faded horribly after half-time and, having finished fifth in the Premier League, are now consigned to another season outside the Champions League.

   Andy Carroll, Adrian and Samir Nasri will leave West Ham when their contracts expire next month. Carroll Andy Carroll, 30, has scored 34 goals in 142 appearances over seven seasons at the club since arriving from Liverpool, and goalkeeper Adrian, 32, has played 150 times in six years.   Former France international Nasri, 31, made six appearances since joining on 31 December 2018.

Chelsea Place £10.5 Million On Victor Moses

 Chelsea are not ready to let their Fenerbahce loanee Victor Moses depart Stanford Bridge cheap.  According to report, the North London outfit have place £10.5 transfer tag on the former Wigan Athletics player.  Moses Soon to be appointed Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on signing the player who he made flourish during his two-year stint with the club.  The former Chelsea boss was a big fan of Moses during his two-year tenure at Chelsea, utilising him as a right wing-back.  The Blues won the Premier League in his first season in charge, with Moses scoring three goals and picking up three assists.   But the Nigeria international was frozen out and sent on loan to Fenerbahce by Conte’s replacement Maurizio Sarri.   The Premier League giants have put a £10.5m asking price on the 28-year-old, despite him having just 13 months left on his contract.  According to FC Inter News, the Italian club have made contact with Moses’ entourage and are preparing a four-yea

Bin Zayed Group Agrees to Buy Newcastle

  Dubai-based billionaire Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan says he has "agreed terms" with Mike Ashley to buy Newcastle.  Midhat Kidwai, managing director of the Bin Zayed Group, issued a statement on Monday afternoon confirming the talks.                                       Sheik  Khaled  "In response to numerous reports in the world media this morning, we would like to comment as follows," the statement read. "We can confirm the representatives of his Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nahyan are in discussions with Mike Ashley and his team about the proposed acquisition of Newcastle United Football Club.   Newcastle have confirmed to Sky Sports News that the statement is genuine, but have not released one of their own.   Sheikh Khaled is a senior member of the Abu Dhabi royal family and cousin of Manchester City's Arab owner Sheikh Mansour. Last year he failed in a £2bn takeover of Liverpool.

YBNL Boss, Olamide Unfollows Lyta

    There are multiple reports that Olamide may have sent out one of his signee, Lyta from his Record Label, and we cannot help but wonder why.   The reports started from yesterday night, and a quick check on Olamide’s Instagram page shows that he also unfollowed the budding singer.  After the reports reached Olamide’s camp, the singer quickly placed a call through to NL to give details as to what led to the ‘brawl’ between himself and Lyta.   Maurizio Sarri will discuss his future with Chelsea after the Europa League final as he wants to know "if they are happy with me". Sarri   Sarri has two years left on his contract but has been linked with a return to Italy with Juventus or Roma.   When asked if the Europa League final against Arsenal could be his final game in charge, the Italian replied: "My future is Wednesday. I can only think about the final at this moment.  "I have two more years of contract here. I have no contract with any other club at the moment. "I have to speak to my club after the final. I want to know if they are happy with me or not.   "I like the Premier League very much. At the moment it is the most important championship in the world. It is very exciting to be here but now is only the time to think towards the final."

Reports: Inter & Juve Want Sanchez

  Juventus and Inter Milan are both interested in signing Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to Sky in Italy. Sanchez   Sanchez representative Fernando Felicevich has met with both Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici and Inter technical director Piero Ausilio, Sky in Italy are reporting.  Sanchez's United future is in doubt this summer after a troubled season in which he made only nine Premier League starts and four more in cup competitions.  The 30-year-old Chile forward apologised to United supporters after the end of the season, in which United finished sixth, and admitted he "did not perform as much" as he expected.  This was partly due to injuries, which kept him out for months at a time, including a hamstring problem from November into December that saw him return to Chile for rehab.

 The draw for the quarterfinals of this season's Europa League was conducted Friday, with a quartet of intriguing fixtures coming out of the pot. One matchup particularly stands out as a contest that would be fitting of the tournament's showpiece match. School Collapse: Children Die in Lagos Building Collapse

 At least eight children have died and many more are feared trapped after a building containing a school collapsed in the Nigerian city of Lagos.  The school, which was on the top floor of the three-storey building, in Ita Faji on Lagos Island, reportedly had more than 100 pupils.  Images from the scene showed rescuers searching through piles of broken concrete and twisted metal.  The cause of the collapse was not immediately clear.  The collapsed building was a residential block containing a number of apartments as well as the school, residents and rescue officials at the scene told.  Emergency teams pulled several injured children from the rubble, but many worried parents have arrived at the scene while others have gone to a local hospital to look for their children.

OFFICIAL: Zidane Returns as Real Madrid Coach

  Zinedine Zidane has returned as Real Madrid manager just 10 months after leaving the Spanish giants.  The Frenchman replaces Santiago Solari, who was in charge for less than five months. Zidane  Former Real midfielder Zidane, 46, who left in May after leading the club to a third straight Champions League trophy, has agreed to take over until 2022, the club announced.  Real are currently third in La Liga, 12 points behind leaders Barcelona.  Solari was sacked after a 4-1 win over Real Valladolid on Sunday - which followed a shock Champions League exit to Ajax.  That 4-1 home defeat and 5-3 aggregate loss to the Dutch side was the final straw for Real president Florentino Perez.

2 Persons Killed as Thugs Attack Collation Centre in Ondo

  Two persons were feared killed and another one critically injured Saturday at Oba Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government when political thugs engaged security men in gun battle at Oba Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government area, Ondo State.  Sequel to the disturbance, three vehicles including police van were vandalised by thugs just as a major beer depot was razed by irate youths.  A source said the crisis started when suspected thugs came to attack the collation centre for Akoko South West Constituency II.  According to the source, the thugs announced their arrival at the collation centre located within a primary school with sporadic gun shots.  Security operatives including soldiers were said to have repelled the assailant while officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) quickly lied down as a safety measure.
