When Buhari will Inaugurate His Ministers

The presidency has revealed when President Muhammadu Buhari will administer the oath of office on his ministers.

An insider, who asked not to be named because he was not allowed to speak on the matter, disclosed this to the Daily Trust yesterday.
He said: “The first major official assignment before Mr President in November is the inauguration of his cabinet. Arrangements have already been made for this and this [will] most likely happen on Wednesday.”
At the same time an assistant to one of the incoming ministers also told the newsmen that his principal had received a message from the presidency that the swearing-in would take place on November 4.
“The inauguration is taking place Wednesday next week, according to what I heard my boss saying this (yesterday) afternoon,” the aide said.
However, Femi Adesina, presidential media aide, said only Buhari would communicate when he would inaugurate his ministers.
Adesina, who said he could not confirm exactly when the ministers-designate would be inaugurated, added they would have to notify their family members.

This comes even as PDP senators walked out from the Red Chamber after failing to stop Amaechi’s confirmation.
President Buhari  on an official four-day visit. He is expected back in the country today on October 30.
