We Can Shock Enyimba In Aba If We Are Motivated - Salami

Super Eagles and Warri Wolves striker, Gbolahan Salami, has revealed that his team can ‘surprise’ Enyimba Football club in Aba when they meet on November 8 for the ‘2015 league decider’.

In a telephone chat with Naij.com Sports, the striker who has continued to bang-in goals for both club and country complained that what they need is motivation, adding that going to the Enyimba International Stadium for the maximum three points is a herculean task.
Gbolahan Salami leading his team out of the dressing-room for a league game.
“Well, we hope for the best, but we cannot just go and win them with hunger. I just hope our management will motivate the players,” he said.
It would be recalled that players of Warri Wolves in the Nigerian Professional Football League had complained bitterly at the  as they continued to beg the Delta state government to intervene.
Salami who is now the joint-top-scorer of 15 goals with Esosa Igbinoba of Nasarawa United expressed displeasure that he had chances to have gotten more goals.
“Although I am happy for this feat, however I believe I should have done better because I get chances but at times I assist others in the team,” he stated.
Salami’s goals have helped his team, Warri Wolves, to the second position on the log with 62points from 38games trailing Enyimba with 6points with two games to go.
Warri Wolves will travel to Aba to face the People’s Elephants in a match that is considered as the League-decider. Enyimba needs just a point from that game to emerge champions.
