Nigeria Is A Lawless Country - Nnamdi Kanu's Brother

A brother of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and a leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday, December 1, said that Nigeria is a lawless country.
Mazi Prince Kanu said he supports his brother’s action in his quest for the freedom of the Biafra people.
Speaking in the Igbo language, Prince said it is important to note that the Nigerian government is yet to give a tangible reason why the Biafra agitator was arrested.
He said: “What he (Nnamdi Kanu) is doing is what should be doneI support him.”
He lamented the continued incarceration of his brother by the State Security Service (SSS) irrespective of a bail granted by the magistrates court.
“This shows you the kind of country we live in, one that does not follow due process. If this were a lawful country, he should have been released,” Prince said.
Prince said his family was not happy with the current situation in court.
However, he encouraged supporters of the Biafra leader never to relent in their fight for the actualization of the republic of Biafra.
The continued hearing on Kanu’s case and the ruling of the SSS’s application that the matter be transferred to a court of competent jurisdiction was scheduled to be held on Tuesday, December 1 but the case was stalled due to the absence of the magistrate.
The registrar of the court, Salisu Yunusa said that the case could not be heard as scheduled because the magistrate lost his father last Thursday, November 26.
He also said a date will be communicated to the appropriate representative once the court is able to communicate with the magistrate.
