Arsene Wenger to leave Arsenal

  Arsene Wenger the long severing Arsenal manager has announced he will leave the club at the end of the season.
 The 68 years old took charge of the club in 1996 and guided Arsenal to three premier league titles and seven FA cups.

  In a statement published on the club's official website
He said "After careful consideration and following discussion with the club, i feel is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season.
"I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years.
"I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this so special
"I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high
"To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club
"My love and support forever"

  Meanwhile, majority shareholder Stan Kroenke expressed his thanks to the Frenchman for his service to the north London side.
"Everyone who loves Arsenal and everyone who loves football owes him a debt of  gratitude. Three premier League titles, seven FA cup triumphs including an entire season unbeaten run, 20 successive years in the Champions League is an exceptional record.
